TURVAL is widely used for treating horses as it can have both auxinic and therapeutic activity in case of particular problems.
In practice, it has been observed that young horses, foals and yearlings treated with TURVAL have a better state of nutrition, glossier coats and a more regular change of coat.The abdominal profile appears less dilated even though the two groups of foals were regularly subjected to anthelminthic treatments.
In cases of prolonged treatments with antibiotics and /or sulphamides, TURVAL is capable of controlling the diarrhoea which may begin and only rarely it is necessary to use other products; this type of treatment is also very important in preventing the formation of gastro-duodenal ulcers.
In mares, especially if old, an enhancement of symptums of being in heat was observed.
In horses used for sporting activities, the bioregulatory action on the intestinal flora has been demonstrated to be of great assistance for the absorption of nutrients at an enteric level and, therefore, for releasing the energy in these compounds.
In several cases, problems of tying-up have been resolved by administering only TURVAL.
